If a belief is based upon Biblical Truth, then would it not embrace the complete counsel of Scripture? We have become aware through our studies that a remarkable amount of standard theology simply does not stand up to Biblical scrutiny. We strive for understanding Yah's Word in spirit AND truth, and we offer our thoughts here on various subjects for further edification:

Is it a problem if a High Holy Day, an annual Sabbath, falls on a weekday-7, a Saturday, a weekly Sabbath?
We see this happen fairly frequently on various luni-solar calendars. It's just how the days and their counts work out sometimes when we use the new moon to begin a month. When a "double sabbath" happens, the Holy Day will normally take precedence over the weekly Shabbat. It's still a Sabbath, so it's really not a problem - right? It must be how Yah wants it... (?) |
Is it really okay for one type of Sabbath to blot out the other?
Conundrum!
